Description

• The driving gear unit is in parallel cardan structure and is subjected power by the coupling gear connected to the traction motors. This is power transmission device for reduce the speed using single reduction gear.
• OSS (One Side Support) type is not need adjustment of the bearing clearance. because both axle and wheel gear are assembled by the double row tapered roller bearing toward one side. There is high bearing wear limit.
• Each rotating part is easy to maintenance and safety as structure of non-contacting and labyrinth of specific wear.
• Breather is attached to prevent the reverse flow of oil. And Breather discharges the oil mist when oil temperature rises(Only KORAIL).
• The exterior structure is simple and robust.
• When lubricant's replacing, refueling and discharge is simple
